1. Scope

This policy applies to the iOS version of MellowGrid (the “App”), purchases and advertising in the App, the market-classification request used for advertising, this website, and support contacts. Third-party services are also governed by their providers' policies.

2. Game data stored on your device

Game progress, settings, local records, and action history needed for replay features are generally stored on your device. MellowGrid does not currently require a separate MellowGrid user account.

Local data can be lost if you delete the App, erase the device, or experience device failure. This local-storage description does not cover the external requests needed for purchases, advertising, market classification, and support.

3. In-app purchases

MellowGrid uses Apple's App Store/StoreKit and RevenueCat for full-game purchases, entitlement checks, and purchase restoration. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase status, transaction identifiers, and information needed to verify in-app entitlements under their own policies.

MellowGrid does not ask you to enter, or directly store, payment-card or bank-account details.

4. Advertising and the Google Mobile Ads SDK

During free use, an ad may be eligible to appear only at designated run-end points for the Japan market. The App does not request an ad after the full game has been unlocked, for an ineligible or unknown market, or when an advertising prerequisite fails.

The initial release is designed to request non-personalized ads only. Non-personalized ads do not mean that no information is processed. For ad delivery, frequency controls, measurement, security, fraud prevention, and SDK operations or improvement, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process:

The information actually processed can vary with the SDK version, device, region, and Google's service configuration.

The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). It updates consent information when the App launches and presents a Google-provided message when required. Advertising initialization and requests proceed only when UMP strictly confirms that ads can be requested.

When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, you can review or change your choices using “Privacy choices” in the App's settings. If consent information or the privacy-options form fails, the App does not request an ad, and gameplay remains available.

6. ATT, IDFA, and tracking policy

As an App policy, MellowGrid does not present an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission prompt, does not use IDFA for cross-app tracking, and does not request behavioral or personalized advertising.

This policy does not mean that third-party services such as the Google Mobile Ads SDK cannot process app-bounded or developer-bounded identifiers or information needed for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

7. Coarse market classification by Cloudflare

To determine whether Japan advertising conditions apply, the App sends a request to a dedicated service hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare's edge makes country information available with the request, and the dedicated Worker reduces the result to one of three classes: Japan, non-Japan, or unknown. The App uses only that classification.

The application code in the App and Worker does not persist the original country information or IP address. The current Worker uses no custom logging, D1 database, or custom analytics. Cloudflare may still process network metadata for delivery, security, and service operations under its own policy.

8. Audience and ad content

MellowGrid is a general-audience game and is not primarily directed to children. The App is designed to limit ad content to a maximum rating of G. This is an ad-content control, not an age-verification system or a legal age classification.

9. When an ad cannot be obtained

An ad might not load or appear because of an ad blocker, DNS settings, network conditions, market classification, consent information, the advertising SDK, or ad availability. You can continue to use the game without an ad. Disabling security tools or ad blockers is not a condition of using MellowGrid.

10. Support information

If you contact support, your email address, message, and optional attachments may be processed as needed to respond, maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Your email service and our email service provider also process the message under their policies.

Do not send passwords, one-time codes, API tokens, credentials, payment-card details, a full purchase receipt, device or advertising identifiers, IP addresses, private URLs, raw logs, packet captures, or DNS/VPN configuration values. You can also use the support email below to ask about deletion of support information.

11. This website

This website uses static HTML and CSS. It has no contact form, cookies, browser storage, custom analytics, advertising, external fonts, or external images. The site's code does not initiate an additional request during normal page display. If you follow an external policy link or an email link, the destination service processes information under its own policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy when features, third-party services, laws, or operations change. We will update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the App, release information, or this website, as appropriate for the change.

13. Contact
